Tracy Bennett, Principal Partner
For most of her life, Tracy Bennett, Principal Partner, has lived within shouting distance of the Missouri River—the Mighty Mo—the longest river in North America. She is a Missouri Tiger, having earned her degree from the renowned Missouri School of Journalism founded by Walter Williams in 1908. While media is ever evolving, a strong foundation in journalistic integrity is central to both old and new media platforms. www.journalism.missouri.edu
Mighty Mo Media Partners was founded in 2012 in order to apply journalistic integrity to marketing processes. Our goal is to help clients become credible thought leaders who in turn enable their customers to make informed decisions.
Tracy Bennett honed her skills as a technical writer, lead editor, creative marketer, and manager of editorial, artistic, and sales teams during a 20-year career in the trade press. Her niche technical expertise was gained through years of covering the crane and rigging industry and lifting equipment rental markets. She has a broad understanding of issues facing the construction industry. Her ability to grasp highly technical and often politically sensitive issues is transferrable to many industries.
Industry Involvement
Among the industry associations Mighty Mo Media Partners is actively involved in is the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association and the Steel Erectors Association of America. This has led to opportunities to advocate for workforce development in construction, equipment operation, and related skilled trades.
From 2018 through 2020, Tracy Bennett served as director of Lift & Move USA, a career exploration initiative of the SC&RA,, SC&R Foundation, NCCCO Foundation, and KHL. Lift & Move USA provides an authentic way for students to learn about skills needed and careers available in specialized transportation, crane and rigging operations.
